Hundreds of Thanksgiving meals were served up Tuesday evening during the 28th annual Meet and Eat Thanksgiving Dinner at Kealakehe Elementary School.
Though the annual event had to pivot from its sit-down meal to a drive-through format because of the coronavirus pandemic, turkey dinners with all the traditional trimmings were still provided to those in need.
Via its weekly Wednesday meals and the Thanksgiving dinner, Meet and Eat has served up more than 280,000 meals since its founding in 1992 by the Kona Task Force on Feeding the Hungry.
